Diogo Ferreira built Tuga Pastries from a Clovelly hole-in-the-wall into three Sydney sites plus wholesale, reviving his late father's pastéis de nata recipe through years of trial and error. Surviving Covid, construction chaos and lockdowns, Tuga now supplies cafes from Sydney to Newcastle and Wollongong, with a CBD site opening November.
