Held in early November, the conference drew key suppliers and sales leaders from across Australia for two days of strategy, celebration, and forward momentum. The gathering marked a significant milestone in the evolution of Metcash Food Service & Convenience as it sharpens its focus on delivering greater value, improved efficiencies, and deeper partnerships across the foodservice and convenience landscape.

“This conference was an important moment for our business,” said Metcash Food Service & Convenience CEO, Craig Phillips. “Bringing our entire national sales network together under one roof created a level of energy and collaboration that truly showcased the strength of our people and our shared ambition.”

A standout moment of the event was the gala awards evening, recognising excellence across the business and among its partners. Primo Foods and Envirochoice were honoured as the 2025 winners in their respective categories, highlighting the critical role suppliers play in the success and momentum of the Metcash Food Service & Convenience network.

Equally well-received was the Major Partner Showcase on Friday morning, where suppliers unveiled a compelling lineup of new products, exclusive deals, and innovation. The showcase attracted strong engagement and feedback, underscoring the opportunities being unlocked through the newly consolidated structure.

Phillips said the inaugural conference signals a powerful step forward. “The response from our people and our partners has been outstanding,” he said. “The enthusiasm, collaboration, and shared commitment we saw throughout the event made it clear - we’re building something strong, and we’re building it together.”

The integration of Superior Food Services and Campbells under the Metcash Food Service & Convenience banner is designed to expand customer offerings, streamline operations, and strengthen supplier and customer relationships. It reinforces Metcash’s long-standing commitment to supporting independent businesses nationwide and sets the stage for accelerated growth in the years ahead.
