Hormel Bacon 1 Perfectly Cooked Bacon is the newest breakfast meat for Australian menus that looks, tastes and performs the same way with every use.

Naturally hardwood smoked, this bacon helps full-service and quick-service restaurants face a common challenge - ensuring consistency on the plate. The consistently thick slices, smoky flavour and classic texture of Hormel Bacon 1 provide a solution for restaurants that make streaky bacon from raw. That extra time and labour saved can be shifted toward creating more specialised applications with bacon, like bacon-wrapped jalapeños or sriracha and brown sugar candied bacon.

Hormel Bacon 1 Perfectly Cooked Bacon is generally easier to prepare back of house. It’s ready in four to six minutes when cooked in a convection oven at 220°C (425°F). It also produces 95 per cent less bacon grease and requires 50 per cent fewer sheet pans compared to cooking from raw bacon.
